So I got it working without the protonvpn-cli using simple openvpn. Thanks in advance, this community has been super helpful thus far and I look forward to Artix becoming my daily driver distro! If I can't get it running, are there any VPN alternatives that you have gotten working, and if so, what were those alternatives?Īny insights, advice, and/or input would be greatly appreciated. After running a bunch of git clones from the AUR and makepkg -Si and makepkg -install, it looks like I've run into the first package I can't build without systemd, specifically without the python-systemd package. I'm loving how fast it is and the fact that I'm finally systemd free.īuuuut.
In that time I've managed to get nearly everything I've wanted up and running (mariadb, postgresql, auto-cpufreq, ufw, even a custom nvidia undervolting runit script).
So I'm relatively new to Artix (with runit), I've literally only been on it for a few days.
